A peaceful autumn afternoon
Perhaps begin your visit with a stroll through our subtropical gardens to the private foreshore for quiet moments as the boats bob by, or follow the South West Coast Path beside the Helford River for a longer walk among ancient woodlands before returning for seasonal treats.
Savour a selection of delicate sandwiches filled with cheese and chive, ham with mustard mayonnaise, and cucumber with cream cheese, before a game sausage roll accompanied by sweet onion marmalade.
Of course, no afternoon tea in Cornwall is complete without a traditional Cornish cream tea, served with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry jam. For a suitably indulgent finish, enjoy a dark chocolate and mint “Wicked” macaron, pecan and spiced pumpkin cheesecake, and orange and marshmallow tiffin.
A Taste of Autumn Afternoon Tea will be serving daily 1-4pm, from 1st October to 30th November 2026. £23 per person, including a pot of tea or coffee. Make it a seasonal celebration and add a glass of Prosecco, perfect for toasting to hours well spent with loved ones.
