Protecting wild places
Budock Vean Hotel & Spa is proud to be a member of Cornwall Wildlife Trust’s Wilder Business Network, helping fund vital work for native species, habitats and nature recovery across the county.

Protecting wild places
Tucked between woodland, gardens and the quiet waters of the Helford River, Budock Vean Hotel & Spa has always been closely connected to nature. Here, it is not just something to admire from a distance. It is found in birdsong, in leaves rustling along garden paths, in the stillness of the river and in the small details guests notice.
That is what makes our support of Cornwall Wildlife Trust feel so meaningful. Through the Wilder Business Network member, Budock Vean Hotel is contributing to practical conservation work across Cornwall while honouring the woodland, gardens and river landscape that surround us here near Falmouth.
Across Cornwall, wildlife is under pressure, with Cornwall Wildlife Trust reporting declines across species including birds, mammals, butterflies, plants and bumblebees. In a place like the Helford, where the landscape is so much part of the experience, those changes feel close to home
Rooted in nature
The Wilder Business Network supports Cornwall Wildlife Trust’s work to restore nature, protect habitats and inspire people to take positive action for wildlife. Membership helps fund vital conservation across the county, from managing and developing nature reserves to protecting native wildlife, championing nature with decision makers, advising landowners and educating communities.
We welcome guests who come to walk, swim, kayak, explore and slow down in our quiet corner of Cornwall, and supporting Cornwall Wildlife Trust is one way to care for the nature that shapes so many stays at Budock Vean Hotel.
